Go ahead and reward yourself since you shelled out all that cash on Christmas gifts for other people. You know you want to! ūüėõ

BlockFi - Earn Interest on Crypto

You can buy crypto and hold it so you can watch it grow into the future, or you can buy it and move it to BlockFi and watch it gain interest on top of it's normal future growth. I've chosen the last option as currently no other bank offers interest like this at 6.2% per year for Bitcoin and 4.1% per year for Ethereum. Interest is compounded and payed at the beginning of every month and in case you worried about the legitness of BlockFi, know that it is backed by Coinbase, Winklevoss, and Fidelit

Gaming Sales Everywhere!

You'd have to be living under a rock to have missed all the sales popping up everywhere for well, anything. For us gamers though there are some great deals on every platform and Epic has been giving out free games every day on top of endless $10 coupons. Green Man Gaming is also running some of the cheapest deals I've seen including RDR2 for $43.19 as well as many others quite a bit cheaper than normal. Of course we can't forget Steam's Winter Sale also, which needs no introduction. If you've be

Microsoft Leaves 250 Million Customer Records Exposed Online

Anyone with a web browser would have been able to access the data with no username or password before it was just recently patched. The records went as far back as 2005 but the exposure lasted only two days and was caused by a misconfigured internal customer support database.    "This issue was specific to an internal database used for support case analytics and does not represent an exposure of our commercial cloud services." - Microsoft   Most personally identifiable inform

Avast Exposed for Selling Browsing Data

Avast's free antivirus software has just recently come under fire for selling it's user's browsing data to companies like Google, Microsoft, Pepsi, Sephora, Home Depot, Yelp, Intuit, and many others. Interestingly Avast's data collection includes searches on Google and Google Maps, YouTube videos, LinkedIn searches and profile visits, as well as what users view on PornHub. It should be no surprise though that this is the case with Avast as anything you get free now on the internet such as Facebo

No News Is Good News Right?

This site doesn't get alot of traffic and that's no secret but it has it's uses still which is why I keep it up and it costs me nothing other than the cost of my internet connection to keep it up. For now and since it's progressed back to that as of late anyway, I'm going to use the ZorNet News section for just that (ZorNet news only) which includes changes to any servers I host or for an indication that something I run is down simply by noticing the site is down because if the site is down then

Me No Likey

I generally like colder weather but Texas is not built for this. I'm not looking forward to losing internet/power/water/food/heat any time soon again. Post your winter pics in the Forum and show us how bad you've had it! The pic with the most likes gets a prize! Ends on the 26th.       Image credit: USA Today

Discord Partners With Sony

After talks with Microsoft for doing the same fell through, today's announcement of Discord partnering with Sony is an interesting twist indeed. Discord is said to be integrated into Playstation by 2022 which for many gamers will be a huge plus to it's platform.   Although integration with XBOX happened three years ago the depth of it's integration will likely not be as good as what it will be with Playstation.   Image Credit: WCCFTECH

A New Updated Map of King's Reach Dropped on the Pantheon Developer stream!

As the title states, Visionary Realms gave us an updated map of King's Reach in their most recent developer stream which may not seem like a big deal to some but for those watching and waiting this shows us that much more detail has been added to the gaming world leaving room to speculate or imagine what certain parts of the updated map could hold especially for those waiting to test Pantheon in the next go-around.   I can tell you my excitement for Pantheon certainly hasn't died down
